Mumpreneurs Conference Presenter: Helen Butler

Helen Butler - Clutter Rescue

Helen Butler is an Accomplished Professional Organiser who is the Director of two Professional Organising businesses – Clutter Rescue and Organise Your Site. She is also the manager, director and social coordinator of her household, husband Scott and four year old son Toby.

Helen has had a varied professional life, originally training as a secondary school teacher but eventually finding her way into Primary School where she taught a variety of year levels over ten years. In this time Helen developed an interest in technology and integrated it effectively in her classroom as well as teaching colleagues through workshops and conferences how easy and fun technology could be!

After leaving teaching, and having just finished her Master’s degree, Helen worked at RMIT as an Educational Designer in the Online Teaching and Learning Unit, redesigning the Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business for online teaching. After leaving this position she then worked at The Australian Children’s Television Foundation as an Education Officer, working with schools to implement software the Foundation had developed.

When Helen returned to Brisbane in 2004 she worked at The University of Queensland as an Instructional/Educational Designer before falling pregnant. Following maternity leave and a return to work Helen realised that there was now more to life – and thus Clutter Rescue was born.

Having always had the organising gene, the move to Professional Organising was a natural transition. Clutter Rescue’s goal is to provide each client with clutter-free physical spaces that are well designed, efficient and suit the client and their organising style. Our clients vary from working Mum’s to retirees however all have the same goals – to become (more) organised and to feel the benefits of this organisation.

When she has time Helen enjoys pilates, yoga and swimming. She loves spending time with her family and seeing the learnings that take place in her son every day. And one day she hopes to have enough time to schedule monthly facials!

Clutter Rescue provides a professional organising and decluttering service for busy households. We work with our clients to declutter their physical space, create an environment that is efficient and harmonious, and supports the organising goals and style of our clients.

Clutter Rescue has four different services to choose from – Clutter Rescue Consultation, DIY Clutter Rescue, Virtual Clutter Rescue and Full Clutter Rescue. We also run workshops, teaching skills to organise your home, office and life, allowing you to create calm, save money and have more time for the things you love.
