Meet Vicki of Lunalei

About LUNALEI – http://www.lunalei.com.au/

Becoming a wife, and a mother, blessed with 3 beautiful children, meant the world to me, but as my children became older, I felt the need to be in the work force again. Not wanting to miss out on spending quality time with my family, I looked towards the growing market of online stores and the possibility of working from home. It was a whole new learning curve, but I relished the knowledge and set about building my own online business.

I decided to call my business Lunalei – which translates to “Moon Welcome” – I wanted a name that personified a unique and friendly, out of this world store. Combined with my passion for kid’s funky fashion, and being a daughter, mother, wife, and sister to a long line of musicians, it was inevitable that the clothing for Lunalei would fit into a musical genre.
Lunalei “The heart of funky kid’s fashion” went live in August 2007, on my 2nd child’s birthday.
The more I personally shopped online, the more variety of cool and unique designer clothing I found from both overseas and right here in Australia. Over the last 2 years I have loved putting together a collection that has been embraced by customers from all over the globe.

I have also helped to create one of my own exclusive designs – the “Punk Rock Princess Tutu” dress, a favourite with customers.

After winning the “Coolest Product” category at the 2009 C2M Mumpreneur awards, and being featured in Australian Ink Magazine Lunalei has soared.

Lunalei’s testament is to bring you the best funky, punk rock, baby & kids clothing that oozes quality, in a unique fashion forward style.Rock band T shirts, punk hounds tooth and tartan pants, leather shoes and Punk rock high top sneakers, tartan, skull and cross bone tutus, baby bibs and booties. Every thing covered from head to toe for children aged 0 – 7 years.
