Featured Mumpreneur: Lizzie Randerson of Craft Makes me happy

My name is Lizzie, I am a work from home mum with two very busy todddlers under my feet. I studied Graphic Design at University of Canberra before my role as a mummy – and like most creative women, I have made ‘things’ my whole life.

I opened Craft Makes Me Happy in July 2011 after many months of thought and planning. The business has gone from strength to strength and is definitely evolving over time. Originally I only stocked vintage supplies, but have now sourced some very delightful items from overseas to use on all sorts of projects. Craft does absolutely and definitely make me happy, and as my babies are becoming toddlers, I am finding more time to create, which is my true passion. I love using items from my store to show how they can be utilized.

The new crafting community in Australia is very close knit and very supportive. I love being able to supply them with high quality and affordable stock. You can buy as little as you need in my store or build up your own craft stash in one hit.

Specialising in vintage doilies, lace and beautiful embellishments for clothing, appliqués, scrapbooking, headwear, doll making and general crafts. Small wholesale lots are available at a discount and I love hunting down special requests.

Craft Makes Me Happy also stocks a limited quantity of boutique handmade crafts.  Mini hand stitched dolls, playful cloth dolls, teacup pincushions and other beautiful treasures and gifts to take your fancy.
